New and upcoming hotels in Copenhagen 2023

In April the building was restored and renovated and now home to the Grand Joanne with 162 rooms and suites, a restaurant, garden, rooftop bar, and three meetings rooms. With location right next to the Copenhagen central station and Tivoli. 

Opening in 2023, the two hotels will both operate under Marriott brand names and offer four-starred accommodations. One of the hotels will be a Residence Inn under the name Residence Inn by Marriott Copenhagen Nordhavn. This hotel will comprise 95 short-term-stay suites. The other Marriott hotel will offer around 200 hotel rooms. The Marriott brand for the second hotel will be Fairfield by Marriott Copenhagen Nordhavn.

ibis Styles Copenhagen Orestad had it's opening in February 2023 and consist of 186 rooms spread out on 6 floors. The hotel offers a variety of in-house amenities such as a restaurant, bar, working zones and a modern and homely design.

Thon Partner Hotel in Denmark opened in January 2023. It is a conference hotel with 154 rooms with Scandinavian design and offers the opportunity to host larger conferences and events. The Hotel has conference capacity for 420 people and has, among other things, its own restaurant, bar and lounge.

SP34 Apartments had it's opening in October 2022 and consists of five floors with a total of 26 apartments, varying in size from the smaller studio apartments to the very large penthouse at the top of a whopping 60 square meters.

The hotel opened in June 2022. This became Scandic's largest and most spectacular hotel to date with 632 rooms, several restaurants and an innovative meeting and conference department. Scandic Spectrum features a skybar with views of Copenhagen city and boast multiple green oases.

The hotel opened in March 2022. Located in the very center of Copenhagen, this 4 star hotel offers 243 hotel rooms, 3 meeting rooms with one of them being a boardroom with capacity up to 18 pax and 24 pax in the largest meeting room. Great access to the hotel via the Nørreport Metro located just a short walk from the hotel.

Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel is undergoing a major renovation with all its 544 rooms, lobby and restaurants. The renovation is expected to be completed at the end of 2023.

This hotel with 366 rooms and suites by the harbor of Copenhagen is reinventing itself in a version 2.0. as an experience and lifestyle hotel. The rennovation of the rooms are done and now, they will start a huge renovation of the ground floor and the lobby area. This includes one new restaurant. 

The renovation will start in the first week of September 2022. The renovation will run between 1.5 to 2 years (2023-2024). The renovation will take place in stages but everything will be renovated; 156 rooms, meeting rooms and their restaurant.

Hotel Kong Frederik has 110 rooms, the hotel includes a restaurant and meeting facilities spread over a total of 5,300 square meters. The renovation is planned to take place from march 2023 and be completed in 2024.
